Wow it has been a few weeks since my last post and a lot has happened… First off I am officially back home. It feels great to be back, but I have to admit that I did enjoy my two month adventure. The highlight of my trip would be the three days that I spent in England waiting for my ride home. The food and people there are great. I could live there without a problem and maybe someday I will.
I’m also off from school until December. The break is longer than I like, but I’ve come to the conclusion that I need the break. The unfortunate part about a break this long is having to double up on classes so that I finish my degree by the end of next year. I’m so ready to be done with college, but I know its going to be never ending. I’ve already got a second degree lined up to complement the first degree.
So I’ve been able to catch up on some reading lately. I stated reading the All Souls Trilogy by Deborah Harkness. I have to say that I was a little hesitant at first, but then the books just pulled me in. It will be a sad day when I finish that third book. I highly recommend reading the series. I loves how the author was able to weave history into the storyline. I’m currently reading the The Alex Craft novels by Kalayna Price which are also surprisingly good.
So what is everyone else reading?? Any suggestions?? How was everyones long weekend??
Try the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon.
